If you choose one of the Rio Tinto Better Health Cover extras packages, you’ll get a percentage back on all recognised services (subject to limits – things like dental and optical – no matter which recognised extras provider you use. This is exclusive to Rio Tinto employees.
You could pay even less by choosing a provider from Medibank’s extensive Members’ Choice Network. We have negotiated on your behalf with the providers in our network, so you won’t be charged more than the agreed price.
Claiming with Medibank is easy. If your health provider doesn’t process the claim on the spot, then you’ve got a range of options to choose from. Most extras can be claimed online or via our handy mobile app. For other services you’ll need to download a claim form and post it back to us with any accounts and receipts. How you get paid is up to you – either directly into your account or via a cheque in the mail.
